The Catchment Area

The School is located in the small rural village of Finmere which is on the Oxfordshire-Buckinghamshire-Northamptonshire border.  Pupils at the school live in the village of Finmere and the neighbouring villages of Tingewick, Stratton Audley, Westbury, Mixbury, Cottisford, Juniper Hill, Newton Purcell and Newton Morrell.  We also have a large proportion of pupils who come from out of our catchment area.

Admissions

Applications for places at Finmere School should be made through the Oxfordshire County Council admissions team if you are resident in Oxfordshire.  Full details of the admissions process can be found on the Oxfordshire County Council website, or by telephoning the admission team on 01865 815175 or by telephoning/emailing the school office for further information or guidance.

We welcome visits from all prospective parents,  they will be given a guided tour of the school and be able to meet with the Head of School and other staff members.  If you would like to arrange a visit then please email office.3090@finmere.oxon.sch.uk or telephone the school office on 01280 848459.
