Governors
Dear Parents
Thank you for your interest in Finmere C E Primary School.
This is a small friendly rural school where children, their families and the local community are warmly welcomed. It is a place where children learn about the world and themselves with the guidance and encouragement of well-qualified and dedicated teachers and teaching assistants. There is an active ‘Friends of Finmere School Association’ to which all parents belong, which raises substantial funds each year for the school. We are also able to offer various lunch time clubs and after school clubs which are run by staff and external tutors.
We have four classes, each with teaching assistants, so our pupil/teacher ratio is exceptionally good.
Finmere School is a place where consideration for others, kindness, good manners and discipline are strongly encouraged and bullying is not tolerated. We work together to create a happy and enthusiastic school.
I hope that you will find our website informative and that it will give you an insight into the educational opportunities we offer children here. If you would like to visit the school, do not hesitate to contact the office to arrange an appointment.
Yours faithfully
Mrs Tina Fenemore
Chair of Governors
The Academy Committee (Governing Body) works in close partnership with the Head of School, staff and the Local Authority. Whilst the Head of School is, of course, responsible for the day to day running of the school, the governors are involved with such things as staffing, curriculum, school buildings and finance. It ensures the school functions well and maintains the proper range of academic and social objectives.
To contact the governors, please email Lauren Hayes, Governance professional at l.hayes@warrinermat.org.
